Jake is an Idaho native and received his Bachelor degree from Boise State University in the Athletic Training Program. He continued his education at Arizona State University earning his Master of Education degree and worked as an athletic trainer for the Sun Devils football and wrestling team. Soon after Jake attended the University of Utah where he received his Master Degree in the Physician Assistant program. He worked in Kalispell, MT for 2 years, then returned home to the Treasure Valley to practice in orthopedics for nearly a decade. He is currently a Captain in the Idaho Army National Guard. Jake enjoys spending time with his family as well as fly fishing and bird hunting.

Jake has far exceeded my expectations! I have been to ISC for two visits and each time I have left smiling and feeling like my time and concerns are valued. Jake has been great at explaining my case, options for treatment, and being a bright spot during an injury. I have never felt like a number or like this has been just another appointment. I have been valued as a patient and always leave feeling like I am informed. Honestly, I look forward to returning to my future appointments. That says a lot.
Jake was awesome along with the entire staff. A terrific experience...right to point...very informative....answered all the questions...created a game plan and I am already feeling better. He absolutely gave encouragement and positive direction! A+
