The Shoulder Clinic of Idaho is proud to serve patients across Idaho, Nevada, and Oregon. Many of our patients travel from more rural areas to seek the specialty expertise of the providers in our clinic. We are proud to perform the largest volume of shoulder care in the state of Idaho and would like to help you with your decision to travel to Boise, Idaho, for your subspecialty shoulder and elbow care. The initial appointment can be scheduled by our administrative staff to best fit your needs. For out of town guests and patients who may require subsequent visits and surgery, each team’s clinic coordinator will arrange follow-up in a manner to optimize the travel requirements necessary to ensure a successful outcome. We have provided the information below to help you make your decision regarding lodging, travel and recreation.
Many of the surgical procedures that we perform are “outpatient” or “same day surgery”. This allows patients the ability to travel home the day of surgery, rather than stay in the hospital. For patients traveling from out of town, we try to accommodate earlier surgical times so there is time to travel home if desired. An on-call provider is available 24 hours a day for those that travel from a distance and can always be reached by calling 208 323 4747. Rehabilitation and home therapy will begin the morning after surgery and written instructions will be provided so that you may start your recovery immediately in the comfort of your home should you choose.
