Jared S. Johnson, MD, ABOS, AAOS is a board certified, fellowship trained, orthopedic surgeon and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Johnson has been treating shoulder patients from the Treasure Valley and surrounding region since 2014. He is a well-respected physician in the community, has served as the medical director of the St. Lukes orthopedic surgery center, and is currently the Chairman-Elect of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St Lukes.
Jake is an Idaho native and received his Bachelor degree from Boise State University in the Athletic Training Program. He continued his education at Arizona State University earning his Master of Education degree and worked as an athletic trainer for the Sun Devils football and wrestling team. Soon after Jake attended the University of Utah where he received his Master Degree in the Physician Assistant program. He worked in Kalispell, MT for 2 years, then returned home to the Treasure Valley to practice in orthopedics for nearly a decade. He formerly served as a Captain in the Idaho Army National Guard. Jake enjoys spending time with his family as well as fly fishing and bird hunting.
Erica is an Idaho native that has always had a passion for nursing, health and overall wellness. She has been a registered nurse since 2007 earning a Bachelor’s degree from Boise State University. She has worked in many fields including cardiology and general medicine. She feels that taking care of the acutely ill was a great learning experience that enhanced her knowledge base and solidified her purpose in nursing. Additionally, she is a fitness enthusiast certified as a group fitness instructor. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially outdoors! She is looking forward to meeting a new patient population of “healthy” people that she can visit with and get to know.
